The Chernobyl disaster is world famous for causing the death of several million people in and around the Ukrainian nuclear power station. One could never forget the happenings that took place during the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Station accident. Chernobyl nuclear station is situated roughly 2 hours from the city of Kiev.

The Chernobyl Museum has more than six thousand exhibits that tend to picture the scheme of events that took place during disaster within walls of nuclear power generating station of Kiev. The Chernobyl disaster exhibits includes photos and paintings that greatly provokes imagination of any visitor to make him / her feel the pain of people who were living during that point of time. The Chernobyl Museum is divided into five separate rooms that tend to exhibit different items retrieved from Chernobyl disaster. The things used by people who worked at Museum are displayed. Some exhibits also include the debris originated out of disaster. Pictures showing aftermath effects of radioactive explosion are displayed in a particular room. One can gain useful knowledge about disaster in few hours of walk through museum.
